WHAT IS A DUCTLESS HEAT PUMP?

Ductless Heat Pump is an efficient heating and cooling system that will help you save on your home's most significant energy expense. It uses much less energy to maintain comfortable temperatures throughout the year.

Also referred to as mini split heat pumps, DHPs are a great alternative to a radiator or baseboard heating, as well as a replacement for window units for cooling. There is an outside heat pump unit that connects to the indoor unit/s using line sets. The indoor units are typically mounted on the interior wall for each room chosen in the home, and there is no ductwork needed.

Ductless Heat Pump can save you 50% or more on energy costs. The average household is estimated to spend more than $2,000 annually on energy bills, and about half of that goes toward heating and cooling costs.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The outside unit extracts heat from the air, even when the temperature is cold. The refrigerant carries the heat directly to the inside unit, delivering heated air to the occupied space.
